What is the Coastal Art Collection?

Coastal is an energy. Sometimes it infuses itself when we're kids with sand between our toes on visits to the beach or the taste of saltwater when playing in the surf. Then one day we're adults and realize this is our happy place.

Coastal Art Collection is an opportunity for us to have a precious reminder, a visual cue to those lighter, relaxing, salt air times. That is what art can do. It can transport, lift and lighten.

I've been capturing photos in studio and on location for many years and have been cultivating a catalog of images that are meaningful to me and I hope others can enjoy them as well, either for yourself or as a special gift to a loved one.

Meet the Artist

Tim Loretangeli is a US-based visual artist working primarily in the coastal Mid-Atlantic states and South Florida. The origins of his Coastal Art Collection began in 2013, capturing surprising images of sea shells with vintage lenses. This antique glass beautifully enhanced the studio photography that Tim was creating at the time. This series has since grown to encompass a variety of seascapes and maritime details.

A lifelong artist, Tim is a fine arts graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. From there he served as creative director at a number of ad agencies, ultimately forming his own brand of creative services studio. Tim currently resides in Barnegat, New Jersey and Delray Beach, Florida.

As a filmmaker, painter, writer and photographer, Tim is constantly looking to reveal the next hidden visual story.
